Review Content Guidelines

Reviews can be removed if they were submitted by someone who has not had an experience with your company or when reviews clearly violate our content guidelines. Content violations include the following:

1) Conflicts of interest such as reviews written by an employee or former employee.

2) Second-hand experiences posted by someone who has not had a personal experience with your business. However, if the review is submitted by someone directly involved in the purchase, or who requested post-purchase support and had an experience with your business, the review will remain published.

3) Threatening language, personal attacks, hate speech, bigotry or lewdness. Please note that typically reviews containing profanity do not need to be reported as certain words are automatically censored. However, if a review contains an employee’s name or personal contact information you can report the review and we will redact the sensitive information from the review.

4) Reviews in which the content is not relevant to the business or service experience. It needs to be clear from the review that the reviewer has not had a purchasing or service experience with the company. Example: “I was going to place an order but then I read these reviews.”

Please note that Sitejabber does not arbitrate disputes and if you feel that a review is inaccurate you can post a public response and send a private message to the reviewer to clear up any misunderstandings. Reviews will not be removed due to conflicting information provided by a reviewer and a business.

Reviews can be reported in your business dashboard under Reviews in the Moderation tab.
